The mission of the Council of Clinical Hypnotherapists, Australia, is to unite in one voice and passion, all clinical hypnotherapists and thereby to serve with the highest ideals, the interests and security of the profession, the practitioners and the clients of clinical hypnotherapy.

We will firmly establish Clinical Hypnotherapy as a sound and profoundly beneficial, professional health modality.

We will in all arenas, raise the profile of Clinical Hypnotherapy and its Practitioners, to be acknowledged at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

We will nurture and stimulate the profession by mentoring students and novice practitioners; by establishing standards of professional qualification; by facilitating meaningful, ongoing professional education and development; by encouraging and supporting research and the dissemination of knowledge; and by actively promoting the practice and benefits of Clinical Hypnotherapy.
